Dhobi Waterfalls

This 450 ft high falls is yet another of Mahabaleshwar’s well-concealed wonders. Dhobi Falls is located on the route that connects Lodwick Point and Elphinston Point, and one can get an enchanting view of the falls from the latter point. The path to reach Dhobi falls involves a trek through thick forest which is full of exotic trees, and the truly lucky visitors get to spot the many migratory birds that come here. Nestled peacefully amidst the lush greenery of the Koyna Valley.

Dhobi falls is the perfect picnic spot for nature lovers. The best season to visit the falls is monsoon, when the flora of the valley beams up, and both the falls and the Koyna river below it run full swing.
