Sunset Point

This is perhaps one of the oldest viewpoints in Mahabaleshwar, and it is also called Bombay Point, or Mumbai Point. Sunset Point is the ideal place to go and unwind after a long day of exploring the incredible Western Ghats. From here, you can see the sun spill colours onto the clouds as it sets into the majestic Sahyadri range.

Sunset Point is a favourite of the tourists and sees a huge crowd every evening. Although, it is also a perfect place for a late afternoon picnic. There are also many choupati games here for the delight of children and adults alike.
